ZuluIDE RP2040 Compact ATAPI CD-ROM/Zip drive ODE

As of September 19th, 2025, the original ZuluIDE RP2040 has been discontinued in favor of a less-expensive version, known as ZuluIDE V2. ZuluIDE V2 can do everything the original ZuluIDE RP2040 can do, and can outperform it by up to 3.5x

ZuluIDE is an ATAPI CD-ROM Optical Disc Emulator (ODE) for any desktop computer with an IDE interface.

CD-ROM images are represented by ISO or raw binary .bin/.cue file formats. Usage instructions/documentation can be found on the ZuluIDE wiki.

As of firmware version v2024.11.13, ZuluIDE RP2040 Compact supports emulated playback of Red Book CD Audio, with the companion ZuluIDE i2s DAC shield. 

Known-incompatible systems:

• Konami System 573 is not currently compatible with ZuluIDE RP2040 Compact.
